Kick your Saturday into high gear and let your energy soar with this recipe adapted from one I found in Kris Carr's Crazy Sexy Juices and Succulent Smoothies.
8 oz unsweetened almond milk
2 oz fresh OJ
Handful of arugula
Handful of mint
Large handful of spinach
juice from one lime (or mix it up with juice from 1/2 a lemon for a special zing!)
2 stalks of celery
1 cucumber (peeled if not organic)
1 green apple
1 inch fresh grated ginger (use micro plane)
1 tbsp honey
tiny dash of cayenne
4-6 ice cubes (I like it really cold)
